After a lot of brain storming our team zeroed on the name Jigyasa'08 for the inaugural inter hostel quiz.The name symbolises the mission of our community to encourage the inquisitive mind and to spread awareness in the campus.
September 05,celebrated as teacher's day all over India was the final date for the grand final of the event.

Welcome to the grandest of all hostels where there is thrill in air for quizzing and maximum participation is expected from all the years. So welcome you all to our own Hostel-1.

Prelims:Girl's Hostel
Our journey was going strong and with god’s grace it was gaining popularity also. But now we had a herculean task of conducting quizzes in all the girl’s hostels. March 08, which happens to be the International Women’s day, was the scheduled date for the quiz. With help of Shreeta Jena, Pratichi Choudhury, Vijayalaxmi Mahapatro, Sagarika khuntia, Ipsa Akanhya and Stuti Pandey the quizzes were conducted in various hostels.
The questions were very much oriented towards fairer sex to encourage them and to keep up our promise of an interesting Quiz.
